Divination and the Goddess Traditions
Homeopathy & Tarot II with Miriam Shivadikar
The Tarot is an ancient Symbolic system of Divination, its history dating back to the Egyptians and beyond. The Tarot Cards are rich in meaning and symbolism, they can be used to tap into the subconscious, as well as giving clarity when problem solving. Insights via Divination are akin to looking at the weather forecast before going out – It’s practical and very useful. In these uncertain times, this can be a great asset!
In this second part of this series, we will be covering the four Suits, particularly in relation to the Archetypes and Homeopathic Constitutions. These cards reveal which Miasm is active, and which ‘Mode’ is in use. Through this, we can get a better understanding of ourselves and others; & we can prescribe remedies to remove blocks.
I have been using this as a tool, for over 7 years, and decoded the Homeopathic remedies related to each card. If you chose to buy a deck, I recommend the ‘Rider Waite’ Universal deck. Bring it with you to the Seminar
In this Seminar , we will focus on the Four suits, and you will learn;
The 4 Elements & the 4 Suits - The 4 Elements & Miasms - The 16 Court Cards & Jung’s Personality profiles - Homeopathic Constitutions Interpreting the Cards- How to apply this to your Patients- Celtic Cross Spread, Alchemist Spread and more

Chantry Homeopathy Lecture Series
Gifts from the Mother with Linda Gwillim
“There is something about the ‘Matridonal Remedies’ that the teaching of them lies in the oral tradition of story telling. It is often through the patient’s use of poetic language that can first bring these remedies to mind. They carry our shared story as well as that of the individual.” Linda ran the proving of Placenta, with Kathy Biggs, in 2000. She then went on to be a prover for the remedies Amniotic Fluid and Umbilical Cord with Melissa Assilem.
Linda has been working as a homeopath for over 20 years. She runs a busy practice in Wales, where her main focus is on treating infertility, pregnant women, attending the birth and then going on to treat the babies and children; she also treats a lot of autistic children. Linda is also the Clinical Director at the Welsh School of Homoeopathy

Chantry Homeopathy Lecture Series
From Pain to Power with Alexandra Pope
A mind-body approach to health based on the intelligence of the menstrual cycle
As homeopaths we already have a vast array of knowledge and tools to offer our female patients. Alexandra’s approach and framework can offer both practitioner and patient an enhanced level of understanding, support and empowerment, moving beyond that which we can offer with remedies alone. We are very lucky to have Alexandra visit us here in Hove, an international speaker and author; you may already have come across her work in “The Moon Inside You” documentary. This day will greatly expand your skill base in treating women. In the session you will learn about:
How the cycle works psychologically and how this understanding (or lack of) impacts on women wellbeing - How to interpret/use this information in a clinical setting for healing menstrual problems - The importance of this positive model for preparing a woman for pregnancy and birth, and menopause (for example women with premenstrual syndrome are susceptible to post–natal depression) - How men within relationship can unwittingly cause PMS - Other key self–care strategies for healing menstrual problems.
With a background of over 23 years experience as a psychotherapist and educator, Alexandra has pioneered a ground–breaking approach to women's physical, psychological and spiritual wellbeing based on the menstrual cycle and the journey from menarche to menopause.
Author of a number of books including The Pill: are you sure it’s for you? with Jane Bennett (Allen and Unwin, 2008), and featured expert in a new documentary on menstruation Moon Inside You, her work has been covered in the press in Australia, UK, Ireland, Spain and Italy and described as “…set to change the way a woman's menstrual cycle is viewed in Western society. Pope's vantage point has such resonance and potency as to be life-changing" (Ruth Ostrow, The Weekend Australian, 2001)

Homeopathy for All (HfA) is a group of experienced professional
homoeopaths in Herefordshire who for the past 2 years have been
offering homoeopathic treatment free of charge via community organisations
in the city. HfA currently works regularly with Herefordshire Women’s
Aid (working with victims of domestic violence and abuse); Herefordshire
MIND (the local branch of the mental health charity) and DASH (Herefordshire’s
drug user support service). We are currently going through the process
of becoming an official charity to make it easier to source funding.
We can offer one student place at each clinic session. Students
will not be taking cases but will have the opportunity to gain
experience of clinical work rarely encountered in standard private
practice. Sessions cost £15. Any student wishing to take
up a place should call (01432) 360988. All clinics are in the centre
of Hereford, and easily accessible by car, train or bus.
Eleana Needham, www.thehealingpond.com,

in Banstead, Surrey (near
Epsom, Sutton
and Reigate). "The clinic runs on the first and third Friday of every
month 10am- 4.30pm (with a lunch break) for up to five students who meet
to explore case taking, analysis, follow-ups, prescriptions, paper cases
and graduation cases. I offer students access to a full dispensing service,
including an extensive homeopathic pharmacy, an eclectic collection of herbal
tinctures and tissue salts, more than ten different systems of flower/vibrational
remedies and also nutritional support (nutritional supplements can be obtained
at a discount)."
Students fee: £35 - free car parking and refreshments provided - a
lending reference library and copying facilities are also available.
Patient Fees: £25 first adult consultation and £15 thereafter; £20
first child consultation and £10 thereafter. If patients book and
attend six consultations they get the last one free.
"I expect students to attend regularly in order to get the benefit of
continuity and to accrue their clinic points. I encourage them to bring their
own
patients and to be inquisitive, inventive and original in their approach to
case taking,
analysis and treatment. Above all I encourage a 'holistic student approach'
and place great emphasis on each individual student's personal journey."

clinics" in the subject line. |
| Marigold Short is a member of a team of homeopaths working at a Low Cost Clinic in Bakewell, Derbyshire. The clinic is able to offer one student place at each clinic session. Each place costs £10 which goes towards running the clinic. The duty homeopath will give 1/2 hour or so after each session to discuss case management. Any more time would need to be arranged with the homeopath privately. Students will not be taking cases unless the duty homeopath is a registered supervisor and is happy for them to do so. Any student wishing to take up a place should call 01629 814815. The clinic runs from: The Bakewell Natural Therapy Rooms, Ferndale House, Buxton Road, Derbyshire, DE45 1DA. |
Magdalena Whitehouse runs her clinic at 78 High Street, Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex.
"This clinic is an opportunity for students to sit in with live cases, taken by myself. Each case is followed by a teaching discussion session leading to choice of prescription, which is made ultimately by myself. Together we shall study:
- What is to be cured
- Methods of analysis
- Careful rubric selection
- Comparative materia Medica
As we follow the patient through follow up appointments we shall be looking at case taking techniques and case management. If a student brings their own patient, they are entitled to a free clinic."
Magdalena has been running a homeopathic practice and been involved in teaching and supervision of students for 10 years. Originally qualified from London College of Homoeopathy, she has recently completed further studies with Jeremy Sherr at Dynamis, and now holds the qualification Practitioner of Classical Homoeopathy (PCH). Her student clinic runs from 2pm - 7pm, bi-monthly. Student charge £15; Patients £30.

Grace DaSilva-Hill runs a students' clinic in Faversham - Kent (just a few miles in-between Ashford, Canterbury and Maidstone), with easy access from Surrey, East and West Sussex and South London.
The clinic takes place on Thursdays, once monthly, from 3.00 till 8.00 pm. Grace has supervised students' clinics since 1999, in a supportive, friendly and professional setting.
The clinic takes five students, from any College, and we all sit in with the patient, with one homeopath taking the case, either a student or myself. We then discuss the case, decide on appropriate method and prescription, incl. comparative materia medica, and the remedies are then posted to the patient - the student takes responsibility for the patient's needs with my support.
Students are encouraged to be creative and emphasis is put on self-development and building confidence.
These clinics have proved to give valuable practical homeopathic experience and have been well evaluated over the years.
Free car parking. 15 mins. walk to railway station. The student fee is £28 per clinic and there is an expectation that students will attend regularly; refreshments are provided. Students are welcome and encouraged to bring their own patients. Dates for the year are on my website www.healingwithgrace.co.uk
