Can homeopathy be used to help people with alcohol problems? In the summer of 2002, homeopath Nigel Hargreaves was asked to work with a team of counsellors to treat clients with alcohol-related problems at the Parsonage Square Centre (part of NORCAS) in Norwich.
Nigel and the team developed a methodology to incorporate homeopathic treatment into a multi-disciplinary approach to substance misuse. They collected feedback at regular intervals from their clients.

Nigel Hargreaves
graduated from the College of Homeopathy in 2000 after a career in aircraft engineering and several years of work and travel overseas, including VSO in Bangladesh. He now has a practice in Norwich, and has used homeopathy in treatment regimes at NORCAS, a free support service for people with alcohol or drug abuse problems.
