We have
also produced a guide to studying homeopathy in the UK called Which
Homeopathy Course?.
The new second edition can be downloaded
here for free. Alternatively, you can email
us
for a free printed version to be sent to you, and for a full list
of organisations that offer training in homeopathy in the UK.
ARH does not monitor, recognise, validate
or endorse any particular homeopathic college or training course.
If you are considering studying homeopathy,
it is important to bear in mind that the provision of homeopathic training
in the UK covers a broad spectrum. Some colleges offer comprehensive courses
in homeopathy that meet a very high standard. Others may choose to focus
on one particular aspect of homeopathy, leaving the student to fill in
potential gaps outside of the course.
ARH recommends that all prospective students
seek satisfactory information on the following points before committing
themselves to any homeopathic training course:
- the current purposes and educational
intentions of the college/course
- the entrance requirements and procedures
of the college/course
- the assessment methods used, and how
they are administered
- the outline syllabus, academic calendar
and course schedule
- the content of each component of the
course
- what general learning resources are
available
- the clinical training offered
- the professional qualifications of the
teaching staff
- the procedures available to students
in the event of a problem or grievance.

The College of Practical Homeopathy was originally set up in order to train practitioners to make homoeopathy work successfully in more cases than is possible with just Classical (Kentian) homoeopathy. We still teach the classical method to a very high standard - it is the first method you will learn on the course. We also teach other methods of using homoeopathy which work better and more easily in cases that would be very difficult or even incurable with just Classical homoeopathy.
